Welcome to the East Coast
Year End
Trip!!
September 12, 2010
Dear Rotary Inbound Exchange Students,
Once again this year, Rotary District 7010 is very pleased and excited to be able to offer all Ontario Inbound students the chance to participate in our year-end tour to Eastern Canada. The duration of the trip is 15 days, from July 1st – July 15th, 2011 and we will be travelling by chartered bus for the complete tour.
We are also very excited that once again, we will be spending our first night in Canada’s capital city of Ottawa, so that we can enjoy the Canada Day Celebrations on Parliament Hill.
During the balance of the trip, we will visit many popular historical, cultural and geographic sites throughout Quebec, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Cape Breton and Nova Scotia. We are currently working on this year’s itinerary and as soon as it is finalized, we will get it posted for you. But in the meantime, we have posted a copy of last year’s itinerary so as to give you some idea of the great places we will visit and the attractions that we will see.
Space on the bus is limited and we only have forty six spots available which will be offered up on a first come first serve basis. So, if you are interested in joining us, it is advisable to get your application in early. I can’t stress enough how important it is for you to review all of the posted information and to be aware of the timelines and dates for submission of the application package, deposit and payments.
The cost of the trip is $2,000.00, which includes all accommodation (usually university dorms), all meals and admission to all events. There are no hidden fees & the only other monies that you will need is a bit for souvenirs etc. To make it easier for you to pay for the tour we have broken the cost down to three individual payments, which you will find outlined in the application package.
Please review this information with your parents/guardians, host families and Club Counsellor and don’t hesitate to contact us regarding any questions or concerns.
We are looking forward to providing you with a wonderful and enjoyable Canadian travel experience that will give you a lifetime full of great memories.
Don’t forget, space is limited and if you don’t want to miss out on this opportunity of a lifetime, get your application in early.
Sincerely,
Gary & Christine Traill
